Our Story
We're Francisco and Duarte - born and raised in Lisbon, and probably a bit obsessed with our city.
It started as a summer gig. Drive tourists around Lisbon, share some history, make some money. But something clicked. Watching visitors light up at a hidden viewpoint, or taste their first real pastel de nata - that never got old. By fall, Francisco had convinced his cousin Duarte to quit his office job. One tuk tuk, two cousins, one idea: show people the Lisbon we know and love.
Family dinners became business meetings. 'Why not do this properly?' we kept asking. So we did. Got licensed with Turismo de Portugal (RNAAT 895/2023), got proper insurance, built this website. Lisbon Vintage Tours was born. Our promise: no rushed schedules, no scripted tours, just genuine stories from locals who actually grew up in these streets.
